Borrowing our way to wealth, jobs bill passes Senate

When will we learn that government cannot create jobs? All that needs to happen is for the government to go home and leave us alone. We’ll create jobs. Now, the Senate passes another jobs bill that we have to borrow money to pay for. How idiotic is this? When has borrowing money ever made a nation or a person richer?

The Senate voted to advance a $15 billion job-creation package Monday, showing a rare hint of bipartisanship as five Republicans voted to end debate on the Democratic bill, including newly elected Sen. Scott Brown of Massachusetts.

Thanks Scott Brown! Some conservative, although who didn’t see that coming. Are Republicans still going to talk about this idiot as a Presidential candidate?

Anyone who paid attention to what Scott Brown said during his run saw this coming, though this will somehow surprise people who only got on board with him because of the R next to his name and the fact that it was Massachusetts. I’ve said it elsewhere (possibly on this blog as well), the candidate the Tea Party should have supported was Joe Kennedy… he was the far more conservative candidate (fiscally speaking). The downside is that it was hard enough to get an R elected in a traditionally D state, so an I would have even more difficult, if not impossible. But don’t say we didn’t tell you so when Brown votes D on bills that help MA

No doubt about it. That’s why it drove me nuts when Republicans were immediately talking about Brown running for President. They are sadly mistaken what his win meant. It was no an endorsement of him. It was a vote against Obama and ObamaCare.
